Autron CVP Expansion by @delorean85
Short description of the car
Autron CVP is a platform made by Autron in 1989 with their new partner Ibishu, based on back then, brand new Ibishu Covet and the cars based on this platform focuses on selling cars for incredibly cheap prices, ease of use for simple users, and having fun in those cars.
There are few cars made out of this platform, such as Petitron - hatchback, Couperon - coupe, Ouveron - open-roof, Americana - american version of the Petitron and Couperon, and Offron - off-road version of the Petitron.
Naming explanation
Autron company name was made by taking 3 letters from the Citroen name, and Automobile.
Petitron also takes 3 letters from Citroen, and takes the word Petit (Small in French).
Autron CVP name comes from the same chassis that the car uses for rest of the cars (Petitron, Couperon, Ouveron, Offron, etc.). CVP stands for Autron Compact Vehicle Platform.
Versions
Petitron, Couperon, Ouveron - The original version of the car, sold in France, and world wide. Luxury trims (LXM) can include a V6 engine or V8 engine specifically made for those trims (1989 - 1996 for the original, 1996 - 2000 for the facelift, 2000 - 2006 for the facelift 2)

2000s versions that were produced between 2000 to 2006 introduced a lot of new performance features, rather than exterior changes.
New engines were introduced called "Boostronic" which are factory modified engines present in normal cars that are made to produce more power than regular engines with no need for a different intake or turbo even. It also introduced it's own special transmission based on Autronic transmission (half manual half automatic) made for sport models that work nearly as much as Dual-Clutch that was becoming more common on Supercars around that time.
SportRS was introduced with 2000s models, and it was a rally-themed trim level that was inspired by rally-battle cars, and also Autron rally cars as well. It had a new 2.3L Boostronic engine paired with AWD and 7-Speed Autronic Sport transmission, it's able to achieve 0 - 200 KM/H in just 10 seconds (1989 - 1996 for the original, 1996 - 2000 for the facelift, 2000 - 2006 for the 2nd faacelift, 1997 - 1999 for the SportX6 and SportX8)
Petitron-e, Couperon-e, Ouveron-e - Electric version of the car. They come in the new trim levels, such as City, Mid-Range, High-Range, all of them include different batteries, and different speed limiter options, Available in Coupe, Hatchback, and Roofless unibodies. (1996 - 2000)
Offron - Off-road orientated version of the Petitron, with either RWD, or AWD, depending on a model. (1996 - 2000 for the original, 2000 - 2006 for facelift 2)
Utiron - Budget off-road version of the Petitron and later the Offron, some packages came with FWD, or AWD, depending on the use of that package. The model is focused mostly towards exploring places on budget. It was discontinued in 1998 after Offron became more popular by the end of 90s (1992 - 1998)
Lore
Autron is a company founded in 1970s, that initially started as a production of parts for other French car makers to use in their cars, later in 1985 they entered the partnership with Ibishu, which allows Autron to produce their first car platform to use in the future cars, the Autron Compact Vehicle Platform (CVP), First car to use that platform, is Autron Petitron, which was on sale from 1989, all the way up to 2005. They will make other cars based on the same platform. Autron still exists in current days, and they still helping other car makers in France with parts, but with Ibishu being involved with Autron, their parts were high quality than it was before.
Autron CVP is a platform made by Autron back in 1989, this was their first car platform that they made, and they used this platform all the way up to 2005, they had petrol versions, diesel versions, and even electric versions. Cars that used this platform were Autron Petitron, a 2 or 4 seater small hatchback, Autron Couperon, 2 seater coupe, and Autron Ouveron, 2 or 4 seater open-roof. A budget off-roader was later released in 1992 called the Utiron, focused towards exploring places just like on ATVs, but in car fashion, model would be discontinued in 1998. Sport versions were called SportPower, and they are based on Petitron, and Ouveron, those models included a DOHC engines, Turbo, and Supercharger for high-end trim levels. Upgrade to the CVP happened in 1996 with the facelifted versions of Autron Petitron, Ouveron, Couperon. It also added a brand new model called Offron, which is a small 2 or 4 seater SUV / Off-roader based on Petitron, it was taller than Petitron, and it had either a RWD, or AWD available. Petitron was also on sale in India, called there as "Inde", it was a pre-facelift Petitron with some limitations, such as a slow and small 1 liter 3 cylinder engine, no aircon and radio, and shorter bumpers, but it also had rear seats for all hatchback models. Just like the facelift version of the CVP, it was on sale from 1996, to 2005. but in India, the Autron Inde lived for a little longer, and in 2005 it got a facelift similar to the last world-wide versions of the cars based on the same platform. Facelifted Autron Inde was in production from 2005 to 2015 for the 1.0 and 1.1 versions, and then finally in 2019, 1.2 and 1.4 versions were discontinued, marking 30 years of production, and the end of the entire Autron CVP production life.
As of present day, Autron still produces parts for other French cars, such as touch screens, and other electronics, seen in Cherrier FCV Vivace / Tograc for example. And besides that, Autron still supports Petitron and other cars around the world. And still producing parts for the Petitron and other cars if the customer needs that part for the car. In racing, Autron Racing and Rally teams still join various racing events around the globe in Petitrons and Offrons.
Quick questions and quick anwsers
Q: Why Autron, and not Cherrier?
A: I like to make new brands, and i did that because Cherrier is kinda boring to me, and i made the new brand for this mod.
Q: Is there RHD Dashboard?
A: Yes, and couple of configs do use them, Mainly it's the Inde configurations, and some British / Japanese related configurations.
Q: Will you add more engines?
A: Yes, i will add more engines in the future.
Q: Do you like Minecraft?
A: why this question is here.
Q: Will be there some crazy stuff too?
A: Yes.
Q: When you will add a UTE, or a Sedan / Wagon unibody?
A: I don't know, really.
Q: When a new Autron branded car?
A: If i want to make a new Autron, of course it will be an edit of a Ibishu car, since as the lore says, Autron is in partnership with Ibishu, so they can allow their cars and platforms for making the smaller versions.
Q: Why does the car easily catches fire when hit from the back?
A: Initially it was a bug i forgot to fix, but then i decided to keep it, because it looks so cool when it's hit very hard from the back. Plus, it kinda makes sense to catch fire from a hard rear collision.
Q: Can you add more cars using the same platform? (Autron CVP)
A: If i'll get some inspiration, then yes, i might do more cars on the same platform.

Known Issues:
-NOS bottle is clipping through the floor
-Jbeams might be bad in some places
-Terrible UVs
-Some Configs may be questinable, and some made with errors
-No RHD Layout windshield wipers
-Terrible modeling in some places
-Some places aren't done well, or don't function properly
-Skin UV may be not correct looking, and for some parts it doesn't works.
-And other things that i either don't know yet, or forgot about them.
Those who's making a mod that want to include the brand Autron, you can do it, just keep in mind that you have to credit me so people know it is clearly not your created car brand.
When you make a new car that will have Autron badging on it, follow these main things for the lore:
1. They started producing cars since 1989.
2. They are French.
3. Partners of Ibishu (means that they both share parts and sometimes cars)
4. They make small or medium-sized cars that cost very cheap.

To those, who have the mod not working after it got an update
If the mod suddenly stopped working, or constantly glitches out very hard to the point that the game will crash, you may have to clean cache of the game with the mod not present in your subscribed mods or in the mods folder.
This is likely caused by the automatic updates of the mod, as the manual updating mostly won't corrupt the mod for the most part as far as my knowledge goes.
If you ever experienced this issue, download a copy from this website, go to AppData/Local/BeamNG.drive/(current version)/mods/repository, and replace "p1_release" file with the one you have manually downloaded. This is how it worked for me, it may work different on your side depending on how long you had the mod, as well as the hardware issues and other factors.
To try fixing the problem, and return the mod back from dead, try this:
-Clean cache with the mod removed from subscribed list and from the mods folder. and once cache cleaning got finished, put the mod back into the mods folder, or re-subscribe using the repository website or in-game page.
-Try reinstalling the mod without cleaning cache
-Manually update the mod if the problem was with the automatic updates for mods.
If something won't work, please check the thread of the mod, and provide information on what you have tried, and what didn't worked - https://www.beamng.com/threads/autron-petitron-autron-p1.84229/
