Gavril Bluebuck Ute v1.0

DESCRIPTION

Gavril Bluebuck Ute v1.0 mod for BeamNG.drive.

The mod is inspired by the famous El Camino and other similar cars.

Warning! The mod comes as 24 new configurations for the stock car Gavril Bluebuck!

The idea of a truck based on a passenger car originated in Australia in 1934 with the introduction of the Model A with a two-door body and pallet configuration. This was Australia's second invention after the Vegemite in 1923.

One can only imagine how upset the Australians were. America, all too eager to crush or appropriate other cultures, had stolen yet another idea. Of course, this irritation never left the Southern Hemisphere, and two years later Chevrolet also began selling a truck based on a passenger car. According to the Aussies, “even the bloody name sounds appropriate!” Completely oblivious to this, Americans began driving cars called “El Camino” while encouraging Native Americans to speak English.

Cultural issues aside, the El Camino and Ranchero were beautiful cars (well, the El Camino was until it looked like a stoned crocodile spanker), and I noticed the lack of factory cars from the 60s in BeamNG. So I decided to slice up the blue goat - and here it is.

Each engine and trim line now has an “ute” option, available with both automatic and manual transmissions, with slightly stiffer suspension components than their passenger car counterparts.

The 423 CUI big block V8 comes with a few more options, primarily a “sport” and “luxury” package. The sportier of the two is based on the V8 Sport, while the luxury is based on the V8 Marshal. The Marshal comes with some attractive features such as faux wood panels and lacquered wood padding for the badass.
