Subaru Legacy is a mid-size sedan or all-terrain station wagon from the Japanese company Subaru, produced since 1989, supplied to the international market since 1990. In Australia the car is called Liberty. According to a Subaru press release cited in Autoblog in November 2008, more than 3.6 million Legacy vehicles have been produced since production began in 1989. Like most of the company's models, Legacy has all-wheel drive.
