Tsukuba Fruits Line, located in Ibaraki Prefecture in Japan, gets its name from the orchards surrounding the western entrance. From the top of Mount Tsukuba, there is a wide view of the surrounding farmland and rural landscape.
The road has become famous for various distinctive features of the roadsides, including raised curbs and deep drainage ditches. The Asahi Tunnel was completed in 2012, which allowed a significant amount of traffic to be redirected from the pass.
