The control algorithm is very sensible, it is highly recommended to use a steering wheel + pedals for smooth control of the bike, as in the video below. You can choose a keyboard/controller in the parts menu, which will make the task a bit easier, but you may still have difficulty with turning and cornering on the wheels, while on straight highways you'll still be fine.
