It doesn't work for me, when I try to purchase it from the store it gets stuck at "purchasing" and doesn't go further. When I press Escape the car appears in front of the store but you cannot enter it and no money is charged for it.
I had a similar problem
Car never appeared got stuck on the buying screen had to quit the game.
