I have one problem i cant load the map with mods i dont know what mod i tryed to disable light addon and ground respones and i have all the mods reqierd
Love the map from v1 can load map but get the following---WMF_WoodmeadowFarm_2_5_ModLandNet/Paletten/boardPallet.i3d (42.00) ms
Warning (physics): Static actor moved (Timb:wagon_vis)
Then it locks up.
Loved the map for the three min. I played before it crashed. Great map but needs a bit of work. I love mud but maybe the field of mud along with the three trains is what is causing the major FPS hit, and yes I do have a top end gaming pc. Like I said, this is a great map, love the layout but it does have some issues. P.S. Love all your work, cant wait for this map to get fixed, and thanks for what you do....
UPDATE-------- I removed the loco drive mod and everything works fine now, I thought I already had it removed but I didn't. also removed light add-on and dirt particle mod. I am running at 60 FPS on most of the map on high settings and also have over 900 mods installed. Great map, I am enjoying it now that I fixed my mistake and not yours, THANKS AGAIN.. :)
Thanks @TIM121672, that was about to be my suggestion.
If you have issues, please make sure you have the latest update for your game. Without the latest update, you will have errors.
Make sure you do not have any other maps enabled or in your mods folder. This goes for not just this map, but other maps in general as common practice.
next update I suggest removing the apple tree area it causes most of the lag with the map I removed it on both versions of the map and pull steady fps on all the map with no issues on very high settings. the mud isn't an issue or shouldn't be if it was installed correctly. it just replaces a stock foliage layer. other then that this version is amazing best yet I have seen of this map. very nice attention to detail. No worries my edit will not be put up for download.
Ok after looking hard at your map the mud is part of the lag you used the old mud set up from fs 2015 you cant use it in 17 with out causing lag here is link to new mud for 17 tut much better and easier to put in your map.

Thanks TIM121672 working fine now.
I used the scripts and textures from Gifts of Caucus for the mud in this version. The apple orchard had been redone for V2.5.1
any idea when the next version will be? i have a high end rig to and its major fps hit for me if i look in the direction of the orchard or just west in general. map has a lot of good detail. excited for the next version so i can beast mode this map lol
update, the gurage in between the supermarket and the wool sellpoint, the lights flicker to the movement of the camera.
(This is a several-parter)
Okay, So I was a big fan of 1.1.3 hence why I downloaded 2.5 (Also being from New England, it hits home in a sense). However I have some gripes, well more of a pro/con list to help in bettering the future updates of this map. Now please keep in mind that I primarily, if not strictly, only do forestry on FS, so any farming that can be done I have a very limited opinion on when it comes to this map.
I'll start with the pros:
- Traffic is faster (THANK YOU! 18mph suuuuuuucked)
- Two way traffic ( cars don't get stacked up as easily)
- More woods Locations with varying degrees of difficulty
- Street lights and flood lights work (well, most of them)
- Trains!
- MUD!! I actually got stuck once (so far)
And for the other side of the coin... Cons:
-Traffic doesn't stop for pedestrians... and sometimes trains. Also rear-ends each other when required to stop
- The construction zone is no more (it was a nice little role play location for other equipment)
- The entrance to the central logging area near the ski resort is GONE?!
- Train tracks make some odd course corrections throughout the map (maybe smoother gradual turns in the future?)
- Some buildings and building lights still flicker with player movement (state shed lights near the shell station , the church, the shed at the sawmill)
- There's a random zigzag in the road near the trailer park
- TOO MUCH MUD! (a little is good, even a decent amount is fun... but there's just too much in some places making it more of a hassle than enjoyable. I was excited when i found my first mud puddle, but then every back access road I traveled was socked full of it. Kinda annoyi
Unfortunately, as I was typing this and double checking locations for accuracy to better help find and fix the problems, my game crashed... Not sure why and hopefully wont again, but it was while I was on this map (just fyi). Now please don't take these criticisms the wrong way. You've done FAR more than I could ever hope to. I just hope you take what I noticed could use some work into consideration when making this map much better.
Right now, Its a really good map. I think it has the potential to be an awesome map. If you even see this, thanks for taking the time to read it. I've only played 2.5 for about an hour so if anything else happens to pop out at me, I'll post it up. Thanks again for making this map, and keep up the great work!
P.S. Sorry for the wall of text. I didn't realize there was a character limit when I typed it out...
I live in New Hampshire. This is modeled fictionally off of the area where I live. I made the map for my personal use and decided to share it with people. I have no errors, glitches, or bug on my laptop. The train route is what it is because of the already existing terrain. Its hard to shape something to the existing terrain as opposed to add it in and more the terrain to match it. The road is what it is and that it the way it has been since the FS15 version.
Hell yes! Thank you! :) So excited to play with Seasons on your map! :D
Like I said old scripting from fs2015 reworked for 17 and it does not work correctly. Trust me I have been using this mud tut on 5 versions of private maps and edits including your map. THERE IS NO LAG and its more realistic and works with the terrain dirt control mod.
I also have a high end gaming rig and I'm have these same issues. I also removed all mods except for the map and still take a FPS hit when I look west or by the orchard. 180fps to 30. I can post log file if needed
I'm from NH too... That's why I like the map. I kinda had a feeling that this was based here when I saw Rockingham Lumber (yard). Like I said, my observations/critiques were just that. Do what you will with them whether they go into the next version or not (if you even do another version judging by your reply).
Working on a v2.5.2 right now. Need to fire some of my beta testers apparently...
