The farmer has equipped it with a simple fence.
An old bathtub serves as a cheap waterer.
Oats, hay and straw are fed in the shelter or in front of the shelter.
The interaction marks can be switched off in the game menu.

I've tried to get at the shelter at every possible angle to drop off food & straw, can't seem to get the drop point to work.
