Does not work but you can go into your main directory and go to whatever save game you want, and go to the farms xml and change your money there

At this point it is garbage. Does not work at all!

go to documents-my games- farming sim 19- savegame#-farm (use notepad)-then on the top is should say "money="#####" change that to what you want then restart your game

its doesn't work for me. and its much easier to download a mod to hit ctrl + alt + 9 = $1,000,000 is much better to do that way than exiting the game to change the money, not fun

This a bad mod for sure, but also, none of the the examples here work either.
Ever since FS-13, I have always changed the money by going to:
My games--FS-19--Right click savegame1--opens with notepad--
click edit--scroll to "money"--change amount--save. But this method doesn't
work for FS-19 nor do any of the ideas listed in the comments. That is, unless
some of you have left out a step or 2.

And ctrl+alt+9 (in any combination) only makes you crouch while enlarging the map.
When I did try my usual method, it saves in the file and the amount shows on each
pic in the start menu however, when the game loads, the amount hasn't changed.

@Rogerw13, there are two places to change the money in FS 19. I think it must be changed in both for it to work. And it does, I gave myself 500 million dollars. Change the amount of money in both where it shows "******" with the amount of money you currently have being where I put asterisks (continued)......

BTW, the place you'd find that is in the careerSavegame.xml. Then also in the farms.xml there is a line near the top that says money="******.000000" with the asterisks representing the amount of money you currently have. Change both those entries to what ever amount of money you want to have and it's yours. You can give yourself billions of dollars if you wish.

worked for me surprisingly all u have to do is get the right setting in winrar and u can fix it with some editing skills it wasn't difficult if u know what ur doin

Go to the save game you want to add money to.
Left click on the savegame and then right click on "Farms" and open in notepad++ and in the top line you can change the amount of money you want for that savegame. When you are playing the savegame you have the amount of money you entered in the top right corner of the screen. . You can do this for all savegames

Apparently going into the farms.xml doc in the savegame folder is too much work.
