I'm good. Plenty of other "Better" shops that are free.

You can't sell mods, you can ask for a donation for a mod, but you must have the mod be "free" to download. I suspect sooner or later Giants will catch up with CS.

They can't control something they don't own any sort of rights for. Sure they own the game. But none of the mods these guys make. I promise you they aren't going to waste the time and money to go after these guys. They will just lose money in the process.

Actually, you are sorely wrong, back in FS17 this was a big issue and Giants did get huffy about it. You need to read What the Giants license says you'll find that once a mod is put into Giants editor the mod becomes Giants property and there is no mod that don't use Giants editor or engine to work!!! Asking for a donation has been okay from day one but to actually pay for a mod is highly frowned upon and Giants did threaten a few guys back then with a lawsuit and the patreon crap is basically paying for a mod! They are getting away with it because you pay for a "Membership" to get access to the mods, not the actual mod.

And you see that they didn't continue with that method. It cost to much money in long run to continually chase after them. I guarantee you every suppose lawsuit you are speaking of they barely received any money from vs what they put in towards lawyers and such lmao. End of day they say whatever they want but people will always continue to do exactly what they want anyway. Crying about it on here isn't going to change that and from a business point of view isn't going to either.

Have you actually read the terms and conditions or just going off what you saw someone say?? No where does it ever state they gain ownership for the mod you created. They would be opening themselves up to a lawsuit claiming they own stuff they don’t have any licensing to. They simply state selling mods for gain is prohibited. End of day that’s all they can and will ever do. I’ve yet to find anything online ever stating that they filed lawsuit and likely never had. To many loopholes that lawyers would find on it and not to mention the money they would be wasting in the process. Remember just because you can bring someone to court and win doesn’t mean you’ll see what the court told them to pay you.
