The 1960s saw the advent of a horsepower race as the demand for more powerful tractors increased. Many manufacturers turned to turbo charging as a means of boosting engine output, but for those farmers unsure about this new technology and its added complications, Case produced an alternative, naturally aspirated, 100hp tractor- the 1030 Comfort King.
