I don't mind a little click-thru. If it's a quality mod, it's worth a little extra trouble. Although I do prefer a paypal link, like Stevie, Ikonik or Farm Wrangler. They do good work and I don't mind giving them some premium motivation to continue. Not afraid to donate for the effort. Modding is not as easy as a lot of people think. Very time consuming. Sites like ul[dot]to however... no.
