The Harvestore bottom-discharge silo is filled at the top with feed, which is then taken out as silage to be fed to the animals at the bottom of the silo. This means that the feed that has been in the silo the longest is always taken out and fed, allowing the length of time the feed has been in the silo to be tracked.
This means that the farmer can be sure that the animals are always fed the same fermented feed. In conditions that are as gas-tight as possible, the silo produces optimal silage, which has minimal nutrient losses thanks to the breathing system.
