The mass center of most GIANT original trailer is biased towards the rear, which results in most of the cargo mass on the semi-trailer being distributed on its rear wheels, this causes the rear wheels of the tractor to not get enough downforce and grip, and easily pushing the rear of the tractor when it brakes. To avoid the above issues, GIANT set the wheel friction parameters of the tractor to unrealistic high values. And setting the height of mass center very low to avoid vehicle rollover. Driving a vehicle like that is boring.
I chose this Krampe semi trailer as a sample. I set its center of mass to realistic position, added collision for bulk, remade reflective strip, and replaced hose model, added suspension animation.
This trailer will come with my VOLVO FH16.
