I had a few emails of people asking what do I mean by "the lighting refraction is better" when I was talking about better lighting quality in FS25 compared to FS22.
So I did my best to take a side by side photo to show you.
The top is the CAT loader in FS22 and the bottom is the same machine but in FS25
As you can very clearly see in the bottom FS25 photo the light is much "flatter" and more realistic in terms of how it refracts and reflects off the material, it has effects of shadow and ambient occlusion in the gaps and spacing of the body's edges.
The top FS22 image shows the very shiny almost "bubble wrap" lighting effect on the edges of the tracks and machine itself which gives it a very cartoony effect.
The new lighting in FS25 in my opinion is leaps and bounds better and creates some very nice effects to show off the machines in photo shoots.
I'm really looking forward to the pictures you guys come up with because so far I am having a blast.
