Version 4.10
New modules:
• motorShow: Optical display Motor start. In addition, the automatic shutdown can be disabled
• Inching: Formerly a separate mod now as a dC module
• FreeSteering: On many occasions, the automatic feedback can be switched off
• variGear: Improvement of the stepless transmission for small driving speeds
The driveControl-Mod now also extends the LS17 modular with many small functions such as a turn-key configuration and extended functions for the CruiseControl. The Mod consists of modules, which can be switched on and off individually.
The fact that Giants nevertheless one or other function in the LS17 directly took over could I clean up the whole something.

Good, I would like to make FS17 the gearbox, I would appreciate it, thanks for this version .......
how do you switch off the soft gas module
Cant get this to work, I've emptied my mod folder and installed this only and it shows up in my main mods category in the main screen of the game but does not show up in the mods select list when you start a map. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated ....thanks
Great mod, but I agree with ACE on turning off the soft gas module. The keybind for the soft gas only shows as "KEY_lshift" so I tried to add another key to see if it can be turned off to no avail. I also tried setting the module to false and this did nothing.
The soft gas module is EXTREMELY annoying, so is there a way to completely remove this module?
The soft gas (as well as the other modules) can be deactivated by editing the driveControl_config.xml file in your 2017 directory where the save games and mods are located. Just change the line from "True" to "False" on any module and you're good to go. No need to try and modify the mod itself. Hope this helped.
I tried setting soft gas to false and it is still on. Is there any way to completely remove the soft gas since it really creates problems with CP? All the other modules are great, but this soft gas module has to go....
