Upper Mississippi River Valley (UMRV) Version 1.3
This is Upper Mississippi River Valley from FS17 (by DR Modding) converted by Antler22 to FS19.
All modifications are done by DJ Modding. https://www.facebook.com/DjModding571/ .Released with permission from DR Modding.

I took my time to edit the version 1.0 and added some changes to it. I will continue editing this based on the feedback.All the future plans & development work I will post to my Facebook page

Version 1.3 Changes:
Added additional 10 sell points which includes selling of grains, rootcrops, eggs, cotton, wool, milk, sugar, wood, wood chips.
Added 9 new farmlands, 49 to 57 in Prairie.
Completely modified both the cities with FS19 objects.
Added bariers across the borders of the map.
Replaced fs17 flags with fs19 flags with animations.
Lowered the bunge grain sell point for american trailers to work without getting struck.
Added/Updated houses in the view points across two states.
Replaced all the houses in both downtowns
Removed the trees which caused shader problems with seasons, replaced them with seasons supported trees.
Added Sawmill and new trees for logging in Prairie.
Minor clean up to farms, added new bushes and schrubs
Added billboards on highways and new warning boards.
Added streetlights across both the cities.

Trees in the forests thinned out to help improve FPS
Added sellpoint for chaff, for those that don't want to mess with making silage like me. Custom harvest your maize/corn and sell it right away!
Map runs good, but some foliage textures can work your computer. If you get poor FPS because of the crop textures, copy your base-game foliage folder to the map folder and it should improve.
Animals were removed, but space left for FS19 placeables to fill the gaps back in.
Traffic system and some small details in town were removed to help fix errors and performance.
Crops info:
Wet corn: for combining. Must go through "dryer" to convert to regular corn to sell. Dryer is included in pack and on Nexus.
"Maize" is the standard ingame corn. This is textured to represent forage corn for silage, will stay green at harvest and yields well through a silage harvester.
Alfalfa: leaves a "grass" windrow so that it dries using seasons. However, use it, because it yields higher than regular grass!
Do not use clover or SudanGrass crops. they were brought over but I did not activate them so they won't grow or be useable

Ah, please don't add those static mesh animals in the farms for 1.4. They look so cheesy in maps, like bad museum displays or something.
Yeah Will make sure to remove those static animals for 14
BTW, this map really feels like areas in Iowa. I grew up there and really enjoy playing on it.
Wish it was flipped so I is on the correct side though. haha
Yeah I agree i learnt recently that the area in real life is quite opposite
Plz fix all the road textures on next update! They look terrible (no offense). Otherwise awesome map!
AWESOME I have plan to do that im still learning how to do it since its a vast map might take some time to do but definitely want to redo all the roads

This map kind of reminded me of the Dubuque area in a quick glance. Nicely done. I use to haul freight out of Tennessee to Waterloo, then rolled on over to Mad Wis. every week. Love that area.

Always wanted to see that farm museum just west of Dubuque, or was it a tractor museum? I can't remember.
You should take out the added crops because it causes tick lag

This map is starting to really shape up into something real nice. My only suggestion is tree variety. I like both farming and logging but the hillsides covered with one type of tree and no underbrush just kind of feel like placeholders.
Thanks I am taking it step by step I removed all the FS17 trees and replaced with FS19 It was a bit laggy when i added multiple treees near the logging area I need to research and make the best of it Will add it to my 14 version Glad u liked the map

I actually liked this map from 17 brought over to 19 I played it and it was a disaster it should have been tremendously revamped from conversion before being released. Nothing on the map looked as great as the 17 version. Get some traffic going pedestrians going make the whole map buyable to do work and to place items where we would like to do our own thing on the map. If you can get the doors to open on the firehouse that would be sweet. Make things NON STATIC like the flags at the firehouse fo
Well I never get to play the 17 version but looking at some videos it did look amazing I am adding traffic trains peds in next release also people are more interested in farmland changes so kind of accommodating time for that as well
that would be nice feels kinda creepy with out traffic

Hey DjModding love the update. Really looking nice. I was going to use the map for a multiplayer server. However should I wait for v1.4 or will it be quite awhile before the next version?

Most of the map seems to work ok, but I'm on Seasons and I'm having trouble getting alfalfa to grow. Map says it's growing but there's no plants. Anyone else have this problem?
Fixed it. Had to cultivate and plant alfalfa twice on fields 13 and 14. The seeder still doesn't use up seed though. As for the update, what about getting rid of the clover and sudangrass, if they're not being used or increasing the heightType limit, I'd like to use MaizePlus. Also, some room for placeables would be good. Really like the map though.
